In most instances, homeowners fill the cracks using wood filler. However, this is never a lasting solution to door cracks. This will not prevent your wooden door from expanding and contracting. In some instances, door panels can fit into the recess. This enables them to have molding covering either side. You must clean up any wood glue that will be in excess. This should be done before the glue dries up. However, you should leave the clamp intact for a period of twenty-four hours. You can then remove the blocks using a chisel. Since you used hot glue, it will be easy to clean up. Got glue is usually brittle. You can now give the door the final touch. Make sure that there is no finish pool along the edges of the panel. You are aware of the harm such can do.
